Fraser Valley Community Media (FVCM) operates the only community radio station, KFFR 88.3FM, serving Grand County, Colorado. In this role, it supports every non-profit, municipality, and business in the county by offering community access to a public media outlet that disseminates information throughout the region. More specifically, KFFR promotes local leaders through a weekly public affairs program that showcases the work of people in the county in areas such as health care, mental health, education, government leadership, and the environment. KFFR also works with the county's department for Economic Development to promote workshops and events that benefit local businesses, and supports over 70 local establishments that use KFFR to inform the community about their offerings.
