Holiday Tree Lighting

The holidays begin now! Kick off the season with a day on the slopes, free live performance from the Beverly Belles, cookies and hot chocolate, and a holiday tree lighting in the Village. (Keep your eyes peeled for Santa - we hear he'll be there!) More Information.
Reindeer Quest & Wreath Decorating Contest
December 6, 2024 - January 6, 2025
Get into the holiday spirit by going on a Reindeer Quest around Winter Park & Fraser! Stop into participating businesses and see if you can find the reindeer hidden inside! Find 8 reindeer, fill your sleigh and win a Winter Park beanie (while supplies last). Sign up for the Reindeer Quest Pass here.

Reindeer in the Village

Ever met Santa's reindeer? On December 7 and 21, two of Santa's reindeer will be in the Village at Winter Park Resort along with Santa's very own sleigh. Stop by and get your picture taken on Santa's sleigh and celebrate the season in Winter Park. More Information.

Run Like a Reindeer 5k
December 20, 2024
Get ready to lace up your running shoes or Nordic boots and snowshoe, cross country ski, fat bike, or walk with snow cleats on the Fraser River Trail to the Rendezvous Event Center. Embrace the magic of the season as you race against friends, family, and fellow holiday enthusiasts. Participants are encouraged to wear their best reindeer-themed attire—antlers, festive costumes, or holiday gear—to add to the fun! More Information.
Torchlight Parade

Winter Park Resort's iconic annual holiday celebration is back, and you're invited! Bring your family and join our community for holiday music and hot cocoa around a bonfire at the base of the Resort - then watch as over 100 skiers make their way down the slopes - illuminating the night with flares and a fireworks show. New Year's Eve Silent Disco
December 31, 2024
Winter Park shines on New Year's Eve. On December 31, the Rendezvous Event Center, in downtown Winter Park, will host sledders and tubers, and a Silent Disco by Big Little Sound. This event is free and open to the public and sleds, tubes, and toboggans are provided on the event center's tubing hill. More Information.
