Fish's First Sunset

BIO: My name is Michaela Cross, but most people know me as Mikey! I grew up in Grand County in Hot Sulphur Springs and graduated from Middle Park High School. I went to Colorado Mesa University and focussed on painting and graduated with a Bachelors in Fine Art. I am now a freelance artist living in Granby where I work from my home studio. I absolutely love animals and that reflects a lot in my work. My main goal is to spread joy, there is nothing I love more than being able to make people smile! I often use bright colors and try to capture as much detail as possible in order to bring a painting to life. I feel that animals are something everyone can bond over and I feel that that brings us all closer together!

I love where we live and all of the opportunities our home has to offer, my favorite being the sunsets! There is nothing more beautiful than a Colorado sunset and the magic it beholds.
